We have ALL the fastest strikers on FIFA 22 Career Mode.
Speed wins games in FIFA 22. Regardless of how well structured your backline is or if you have one of the best goalkeepers in the game, a through-ball to one of the fastest strikers can easily result in a goal.
To help you get this all-important edge, we’re looking at the fastest ST and CF players in the game, with the likes of Patson Daka, Kylian Mbappé, and Karim Adeyemi being among the speedsters.
Each of the strikers and centre forwards featured here make it onto the list because they boast a pace rating (average of acceleration and sprint speed) of at least 89.
At the base of the piece, you’ll find a full list of all of the fastest strikers (ST & CF) in FIFA 22.
Kylian Mbappé (97 Pace, 91 OVR)
Team: Paris Saint-Germain
Age: 22
Pace: 97
Sprint Speed / Acceleration: 97 / 97
Skill Moves: 5-Star
Best Attributes: 97 Acceleration, 97 Sprint Speed, 93 Finishing
As the best young striker, one of the best players overall, and the fastest striker to sign in Career Mode with a pace rating of 97, if you have Kylian Mbappé, you win FIFA.
Still only 22-years-old, Mbappé’s ratings – including his speed ratings – can increase further as he grows into his world-beating 95 potential rating. For now, though, the Frenchman’s 97 acceleration, 97 sprint speed, 92 agility, 93 reactions, 93 dribbling, and 93 finishing make him the deadliest player in FIFA 22.
Mbappé’s raw pace has already been on display for club and country, with it always giving him an edge against high-line or slow-moving defences. By his 181st game for Paris Saint-Germain, the Parisian had already scored 136 goals and 66 assists, netting 17 goals before his 50th cap for France.
Patson Daka (93 Pace, 77 OVR)
Team: Leicester City
Age: 22
Pace: 93
Sprint Speed / Acceleration: 94 / 92
Skill Moves: 3-Star
Best Attributes: 94 Sprint Speed, 92 Acceleration, 89 Agility
With a fiery pace rating of 93 with 94 sprint speed, Zambian striker Patson Daka ranks as FIFA 22’s second-fastest striker to sign.
As you’ll find with many of the fastest strikers in the game, their overall ratings mean very little. Daka, for example, has a 77 overall rating, but all that you really need to know is that he has 94 sprint speed, 92 acceleration, 89 agility, 82 finishing, and 77 reactions.
Over the last couple of seasons, Daka established himself in the Red Bull Salzburg ranks, earning notoriety as he developed his incredible foot speed and ability to poach a goal. He left for Leicester City, having scored 68 goals and 125 games for the Austrian outfit, looking set to be a perfect replacement for a system built around capitalising on the quick, but ageing, Jamie Vardy.
Elliott List (93 Pace, 64 OVR)
Team: Stevenage
Age: 24
Pace: 93
Sprint Speed / Acceleration: 92 / 94
Skill Moves: 3-Star
Best Attributes: 94 Acceleration, 92 Sprint Speed, 86 Agility
If you’re looking for a cheap way to get the edge up top in a lower division, Elliott List might be your top target, coming into Career Mode as one of the fastest strikers but with a value of just £700,000.
List’s pace rating of 93 puts him on par with Daka, but with his 92 sprint speed being two points down on the Zambian, the Stevenage striker just slips into third here. Regardless, his 94 acceleration, 86 agility, 83 stamina, and 62 finishing make him far more valuable than the 64 overall rating would suggest.
In League Two with The Boro last season, the former Crystal Palace trainee fired in nine goals in 43 games, playing on either wing and as the striker. This season, List got off to a hot start, netting four goals by his tenth appearance.
Ricky-Jade Jones (92 Pace, 61 OVR)
Team: Peterborough United
Age: 18
Pace: 92
Sprint Speed / Acceleration: 92 / 91
Skill Moves: 3-Star
Best Attributes: 92 Sprint Speed, 91 Acceleration, 82 Agility
Coming in as the youngest player on this list of the fastest strikers to sign in FIFA 22’s Career Mode, Ricky-Jade Jones could see his impressive 92 pace rating grow further with regular game time.
Of course, being 18-years-old and having a 61 overall rating does leave the young player a bit short in some key areas. While his 92 sprint speed, 91 acceleration, and 92 agility will get him past just about any defender, his 60 finishing can be bothersome after the hard work’s been done. That said, there’s plenty of room to grow as he has an 80 potential rating.
It’s almost bizarre to think that Jones has been getting eased into the Peterborough United starting XI since 2019, with his inaugural season with the first team getting him four goals in 16 games. Last season, he was only afforded an average of 26 minutes per game, with his only goal coming in his sole League One start.
Fabián Castillo (92 Pace, 75 OVR)
Team: FC Juárez
Age: 29
Pace: 92
Sprint Speed / Acceleration: 91 / 94
Skill Moves: 4-Star
Best Attributes: 94 Acceleration, 93 Agility, 91 Sprint Speed
A veteran finally breaks into the ranks of the fastest strikers in FIFA 22, coming in the form of Colombian ST Fabián Castillo, who’s still rapid at 29-years-old.
While his top attributes may degrade quite rapidly in a couple of years, Castillo’s 94 acceleration, 93 agility, 91 sprint speed, 85 dribbling, and 75 finishing make him a potent weapon to utilise from the start of Career Mode.
Born in Santiago de Cali, Castillo very much turned into a journeyman during his time with FC Dallas – who he joined from Deportivo Cali in 2011. From the MLS franchise, he went out to Trabzonspor in Turkey, then Club Tijuana in Mexico, before being loaned to Querétaro FC. To start this season, the Colombian finds himself with FC Juárez, being deployed predominantly as a left winger.
Karim Adeyemi (92 Pace, 71 OVR)
Team: Red Bull Salzburg
Age: 19
Pace: 92
Sprint Speed / Acceleration: 92 / 93
Skill Moves: 4-Star
Best Attributes: 93 Acceleration, 92 Sprint Speed, 88 Agility
Bar Mbappé, Karim Adeyemi likely presents himself as the most appealing potential signing from this list of the fastest strikers in FIFA 22 thanks to his 85 potential rating, coupled with his 92 pace.
Coming through the farm system of the Red Bull clubs, the German wonderkid is already a 71-overall player at 19-years-old, with his 93 acceleration, 92 sprint speed, 88 agility, and 74 finishing being tremendously useful already.
The Munich-born striker arrived in Austria from the SpVgg Unterhaching youth team in 2018, some nine years removed from leaving Bayern Munich’s academy. Last season, he was a regular late substitution for RB Salzburg, scoring nine goals and 11 assists. In the early parts of this season, however, Adeyemi was given the starting job up top, allowing him to get seven goals in the first nine Bundesliga matches.
Youssoufou Niakaté (92 Pace, 72 OVR)
Team: Al Ittihad
Age: 28
Pace: 92
Sprint Speed / Acceleration: 91 / 93
Skill Moves: 3-Star
Best Attributes: 93 Acceleration, 91 Sprint Speed, 91 Agility
Coming into Career Mode with 93 acceleration and 91 sprint speed to earn a pace rating of 92, Youssoufou Niakaté finds himself comfortably amongst the fastest ST and CF players in FIFA 22.
Along with his 92 pace rating, the 72-overall speedster has several other very useful ratings that allow the Frenchman to capitalise on his raw speed. His high attacking work rate, four-star weak foot, 75 finishing, 71 composure, and 78 shot power help to make him a venomous striker when in the box.
Back in 2018/19, Niakaté proved his credentials as a frontman by winning the golden boot in the Proximus League, scoring 22 goals in the campaign. The next year, Al-Wahda paid £1.8 million to bring him to Saudi Arabia, where he’d score 29 goals in 55 games before moving to Al-Ittihad Jeddah for this season.
